Just a pity the haddock is probably imported from a spanish trawler company who were given the EU licence to fish there.

Sadly, if you read the description, it only says that the fish has to be smoked there. No necessity to catch it there I'm afraid. Bit like that Craster crabs thing down your neck of the woods.

Fish & Chips in Seahouses (as I've posted recently), are (imo), crap!... not literally!

I suppose the Grace Darling thing is more of a Seahouses thing. Never gets mentioned on the rest of the coast. In fact if you mentioned her round here half of them would think you're talking about the Chancellors wife!

For decent Fish & Chips get down to North Shields Fish Quay.
