so if the two docs recorded their opinion in an email and confirmed it with each other that the abortion met the criteria, you reckon they, the team and the woman are all at risk of prosecution under the offences against person act. ?

Because they didn’t use the form HSA1?
More irrelevance.

What a load of tripe.

Correct.

So no HSA1. Vulnerable to prosecution yes or no?

Simple question.

You mean a sign off from two doctors, like I've been informing you for the last two days?

As long as they fill out and submit the HSA1form then no worries.

No, but the meaning has. You should know this.
No it hasn’t and it’s confirmed in all the guidelines, codes of conduct etc etc.

You can read and interpret what you like but it doesn’t make it fact.

I think he has finally realised that it needs the sign off of two doctors before a woman in the UK can legally have an abortion. Its taken 600 posts and two days though.

The signature on a form is irrelevant.
The consent (sign off) of two doctors is relevant though. I'm sure there are other ways other than the HSA1 form (HSA2 for example), but they are semantics.

For the point of relevance, and what I've stated for the last two days...

For a woman to legally get an abortion in the UK, she needs the sign off of two doctors.

Their assessment is entirely limited to the risks of the procedure and to determine if the pregnancy is beyond 24 weeks.

I’ve shown you the guidelines, the actual law (not glamour magazines version) and the NHS web page. None of it says you seek approval for the abortion and 2 doctors asses if your reason is valid. Their scope is entirely limited to the risk of the procedure, the time limit. and they are duty bound to act in good faith.
Still clueless.
