I pointed out that two doctors validation were required for abortion to be legal in the UK, then MBK went off on one, before actually brushing up on the law.

It’s a different legal system. Making something a constitutional statute doesn’t change the ability of a government to amend it. In the U.K.

The HSA1 form doesn't get filled in and the abortion is not approved. She could still get it done but that would be illegal.

That isn’t true. The form may provide evidence of the opinion but it is not a legal requirement for the protection to be valid (for the woman).

You see, the thing about this law malarkey, is it’s all about the legal meaning of the words. And as has been pointed out at least a dozen times. The words approval, sign off, authorisation haven’t made it in to the act.

They are however required to give an opinion in good faith. Do you understand that giving an opinion is not to authorise, sign off, approve, give it a nod, or a wink etc. ?

so if the two docs recorded their opinion in an email and confirmed it with each other that the abortion met the criteria, you reckon they, the team and the woman are all at risk of prosecution under the offences against person act. ?
