Urban myth or any facts of that ?
We were told the same by the sonographer, twenty years ago.
In Walsall.
Urban myth or any facts of that ?
Correct. The meaning of the act is clear. Call it anything you like but approval/sign off/authorisation of 2 doctors is clearly a requirement.
Correct.Isn't the point that France has elevated their situation above lying tnucs like Johnson, by making it part of their constitution?
A point that Notch made, what seems like an eternity ago?
I pointed out that two doctors validation were required for abortion to be legal in the UK, then MBK went off on one, before actually brushing up on the law.Isn't the point that France has elevated their situation above lying tnucs like Johnson, by making it part of their constitution?
A point that Notch made, what seems like an eternity ago?
Irrelevant.I see you are using the word validation now.

That isn’t true. The form may provide evidence of the opinion but it is not a legal requirement for the protection to be valid (for the woman). The HSA1 form doesn't get filled in and the abortion is not approved. She could still get it done but that would be illegal.
...more irrelevance. That isn’t true. The form may provide evidence of the opinion but it is not a legal requirement for the protection to be valid (for the woman).
You need to get a life sunshine. It’s not even your argument ffsAnd if their opinion is that the criteria aren't met?
You see, the thing about this law malarkey, is it’s all about the legal meaning of the words. And as has been pointed out at least a dozen times. The words approval, sign off, authorisation haven’t made it in to the act.The meaning of the act is clear. Call it anything you like but approval/sign off/authorisation of 2 doctors is clearly a requirement.
Yes but signing, dating and submitting HSA1 form is.Do you understand that giving an opinion is not to authorise, sign off, approve, give it a nod, or a wink etc. ?
so if the two docs recorded their opinion in an email and confirmed it with each other that the abortion met the criteria, you reckon they, the team and the woman are all at risk of prosecution under the offences against person act. ?...more irrelevance.
And if their opinion is that the criteria aren't met? They are however required to give an opinion in good faith.
