Why would doctors refuse an abortion if the criteria for one is mental distress.
Any woman who wants to kill her own child is clearly mentally distressed, so how could any doctors refuse permission.

Interesting paradox. The woman cant consent because she lacks mental capacity, so cant have the procedure, but not to permit one would cause her mental distress and so she is given permission.

If he was he would discuss the fact anti abortion laws remove women’s choices, they force women to travel miles to have an abortion, they force women into a lifetime of poverty and making abortion illegal doesn’t lower abortion rates.

Those factors must be discussed when debating the morality, Vinty doesn’t because his only interest is ideological.
