Well Johnson

Well, I suspect the Met will be knocking on at least one of their doors tomorrow. If the vote on monday carries in favour of the committee, democracy is dead and buried.

ha ha ha ha ha ha

The privileges committee was set up by the Tories
The privileges committee has a Tory majority

and most importantly the privileges committee is not a court, it has no powers, it can’t sentence anybody.

The privileges committee issues a report and parliament have a vote on it. Parliament has an 80 seat majority……and Fillyboy says: “even though the Tories get to mark their own homework, it’s not fair”

Filly, put yer backbone back in FFS, youve become a deluded cultist.

Are you attempting to suggest that this weasling distraction shows any reason at all that Johnson is innocent of lying to Parliament?

No, just pointing out how even Johnsons enemies are beginning to recognise that the process was flawed, and becoming increasingly so.

Trying to prove he did no wrong ?

Or just trying to prove others are bad too

So, let's say that Bernard Jenkin did attend a drinks party. That would make him a huge hypocrite. But, is there actually a conflict of interest? Why would that make him more likely to recommend a sanction for Boris?

The sanction was almost as severe as the punishment of a prominent Labour MP giving cocaine to rent boys FFS.
You can bring up the behaviour of every MP in the history of UK politics (seems that you already are), but it won't change a thing regards the political crimes of devious, traitorous, lying scum, failed PM, Boris. You need to accept the severity of what he did and move on.

Err originally it was for 20 days but was increased to 90 as he then was in contempt of parliament for discussing the contents of the report before it was published...which is extremely serious... and the fact that he led an attack on the committee who were voted in by his peers ie the whole house...personal attacks which its contempt of parliament again by the way. Keith vaz was sanctioned for lying to the house, not for the rent boy crime which was dealt with by the courts.

So I would argue why did he not get a sanction in line with vaz...the both lied over criminal behaviour...see the fine he got for partying at No.10

Nobody has succeded, and very few people have tried, saying that Johnson did not lie to Parliament.

Which is the point.

Are you going to try saying that?

He also lied to the nation, the EU, the people of Northern Ireland, the electorate, the Conservative party, the fishermen, and to the Queen, but has got away with all that

This is Sunak on Dec 7th 2021 being quizzed in Parliament on whether or not he attended any parties. He categorically states that he did not. Four months later he received an FPN for attending parties.
Nothing will be done about this, despite the evidence there for everyone to see, no action will be taken because this man has been chosen by 'the establishment' to lead the country.
Clowns like 'you lot' can't do a thing about it because it's been decided by the establishment.

Starmer was caught by camera engaged in drinking and curry eating with company, not observing social distancing, the evidence is there for all to see, he even lied about on a number of occasions denying Rayner was present, only admitting she was after further devidence was produced.
No action was taken nor will it be because 'the establishment' have chosen him to be the leader of the opposition.

If Sunak (establishment choice) loses the next election Starmer (establishment choice) will become leader.
Clowns like 'you lot' can't do a thing about because that's what 'the establishment' have chosen.

Johnson is finished in Parliament for the moment because that's what the establishment have chosen, 'clowns like me and you lot' cant do a thing about it because that's what the establishment have chosen.

The MSN will be relentless in pursuing Johnson, they're pursuing him now over his new part time job because he didn't seek permission within the required timescale, they'll pursue him over all sorts forever and clowns like 'you lot' will lap it up because you are all establishment lap dogs.

Johnson was many things but he can't be accused of being part of the establishment, he had to go.
