Well trump

Two impeachments and four sets of indictments, from financial fraud to a slew of charges over the 2020 election, have done little to damage Trump’s standing among the true believers, and have only bolstered his run for the Republican presidential nomination. Such is the strength of that belief that a recent CBS poll showed Trump voters trust him more than their own family members and religious leaders.

What can you do in the face of so much relentless stupidity?

Keep your fingers crossed that the diet of burgers and bullshoite comes good, sooner rather than later (y)

The second ranking Republican candidate advocated going to war with Mexico on day 1 of his presidency.

But to be fair he hasn't said Mexico will pay for the war.

Yes charade. It depends on whether you're listening to the left MSM or the right, but independant legal minds are saying there is no reasonable chance of conviction as charged.

This whole charade is about the campaign for those 'floating voters', & it may backfire on those orchestrating it.

So do you believe that the illegal retention of classified documents is a charade?

The guy knowing took (government owned) classified documents when he left the Whitehouse.

His lawyers have testified that when subpoenaed to return then, he asked them if they were willing to reply that he had none. They told him that they were unwilling to do so. They told him that they needed to go through the boxes in the pool room, remove any documents with classified markings and hand them over to the DoJ.

Donnie told them when they could have access to the boxes. Days before, he ordered Walt to remove 60% of the boxes so that the lawyers could not go through them.

He then let them sign what he knew to be a false affidavit, stating that the 18 documents that he was handing over was the entirety of the subpoenaed items.

After the FBI were left with no option other than to raid Mar a Lago, he suggested that they planted the documents, then asked his "shopped" judge (A Cannon) to prevent the DoJ from reviewing the files, insisting that the supposedly planted documents were his property.

When questions were asked about why so many of the classified document folders were empty, one of his lawyers said that he used to use the folders to cover the LED on the phone in his bedroom so that it wouldn't disturb him at night. Then they suggested that he kept empty folders as keep sakes.

I don't agree with the politics of the far right, but what is so chuffin' wrong with you lot that you will blindly defend someone like Trump? I can't believe that you are stoopid enough to believe his lies.

His lies are seldom consistent, and often contradict earlier lies but for some reason there any many people with serious cases of cognitive dissonance that will accept the contradictory lies (simultaneously) as truth. It is bizarre.

Did you copy paste that from a left or right MSM???

Did you copy paste that from a left or right MSM???

I didn't quote it from anywhere.

I have followed the case and have read the indictment. Additionally, I have witnessed the lies that he has spewed forth, including the the lie that he told Tucker Lord Haw Haw Carlson, where he claimed that he was too busy to search through the boxes to comply with the subpoena.

Are you really unware of the evidence against him, or do you assume that it is all a witch hunt and that he must automatically be innocent of all charges because his dog whistle is at a frequency that you can hear?

Trump could still be president from jail afaik

They would either have to let him out on licence ?

Or convert a prison into some type of Oval Office ?? :)

BTW, if anyone is interested, I recently came across a really informative and entertaining Daily Beast podcast-

I have Amazon prime, and so listen to it via it (advert free). It is unashamedly anti-republican but some of the legal contributors give an honest opinion on Trump's legal woes.

It isn't a Safe For Work podcast though, they have a F**K that Guy section in the podcast. One week they might be maliging Abbot in Texas for refusing to sign water drinking regulation in to law, the next week they will malign anti-abortion laws that force 12 year olds that have been rayped [sic] to cross state lines to terminate the pregnancy.

It is however very eye opening- but if only if you want to witness the early, potential steps that lead to 1930's Germany. If that flavour of hatred is your brand, there is no point listening to the podcast.

If he were found guilty and locked up, in (either of) the two federal cases, in the event that he wins the election, he can, possibly pardon himself. If, and it seems unlikely that he will convicted in the Georgia (state) case before the election, were that to happen, he will have to serve a minimum of 5 years. 5 years later (after his incarceration), he can apply to the parole board to pardon him.

A pardon however is an admission of guilt. .

In answer to your question- I don't honestly know if he would be let out on licence. This is unchartered waters. I hope that congress steps up to the plate and reigns in the powers of potential presidents. BTW , Team Trump have openly talked about dissolving the separation of powers.

They are advocating a totalian system, and NONE of the republicans are railing against it.

I heard that a Presidential pardon won't work for conviction for a State felony.
He done the crime. He do the time.

He would have to have secret service protection officers in prison with him

Basically if trump is jailed it will cause a massive amount of trouble

So either drop the charges or

???

Could you ever actually comprehend just how stupid you are?

Stupid people think everyone else is equally as stupid, so they never get to comprehend just how stupid they are.

It is unashamedly anti-republican yet somehow it manages to give an honest opinion on the current state of affairs . . . . !
