We've decided to give a McD a very rare visit, for a bit of lunch. Dinner, much later, will be just a cottage pie and gravy.

A cheese and pickle pumpkin seed roll. Go on, have a guess how long I’ve had that pickle in the fridge….

Cheese and tomato panini at Café 42 degrees - right on one of the 42° banked ends of the Velodrome at the Olympic park. Not too busy today.

We seriously need to go shopping.

We have no cereal apart from a bag of moosli.

Hardly any milk, no butter, no eggs. The only bread we have is a frozen nan bread. The veg we have left are few and a bit limp.

No tinned tuna or tomatoes and very little PB.

Frozen food amounts to some whole raw fish, frozen cod, 3 fish fingers, some frozen fruit and a couple of meaty ready meals.

Scratching my head wondering what I can have.

I might break out the bread maker and have a fish finger butty.

Our bread maker takes 4 hours to make a loaf unless I use the quick setting and then it comes out ‘orrible.
Is yours a Panasonic?

I find the hour loaf on ours is quite acceptable.
