What have you been doing today?

Today I painted another two fence panels. A bit of a faff as I had to dissemble a couple of fan trellises that I had built and screwed to them. Painted them too while they were all in pieces. After that I literally sat and watched paint dry. I then cycled round to my allotment, watered my seedlings and crops and went home for my tea.

Oh yeah, I also completed and submitted my application for the £10k small business loan.

Yesterday we went to visit dad in law, dropped off some food and an Easter egg. Planted some runner beans in his garden as well as did some weeding. We've not seen him for 3 weeks but he seemed to be doing well in his spirits and health. Was good to see him that after his initial wobble, he's doing ok

Ha ha, nope!! Not going to tesco just for that - besides, he's still going every day - he can get them himself! He went again on Thurs, just to look around and didn't buy a thing. He went with a tea towel wrapped around his mouth and nose...

Just started doing our fence panels across the front drive.
6 off 6' x 6' plus the gate. One side had first coat, will do reverse side shortly then give second coats tomorrow.
After that we have a bathroom to finish painting before wallpapering and then the kitchen.
Still got other decorating jobs planned around the house but just pacing myself.

I really enjoy decorating, once get past the clearing out of junk in order to decorate first! Radio on, sing along - it's therapeutic

I've just weeded a patch, dug over and planted some king Edwards. Best all-rounder spud that Tomorrow I'll put in my earlies, a bit late!

been digging a wee trench and back filling it with gravel, getting myself a sun tan too, a good way of topping up that vitamen-D so essential to fight of viruses

Second coats? One's enough for me! Did 5 panels today, the sides with the rails. Gotta pace myself, I’ve got until September to finish 'em! Having a break from painting tomorrow, going to do a bit over my allotment. Putting my Vale of Sovereign and Winston potatoes in.

Instead of a second coat I decided to clean my shed out.
Would have been easier to second coat the fence! Where do all the spiders hide during winter?????

I've been working. Been busier than ever this last few weeks.
Stopped by the police earlier, three of us in the van and told to proceed.

Think I've had the covid.
My work colleague has been off work now for two weeks and will be for the foreseeable future..
Said he thought he was going to die. First time he was ever knocked off his feet so badly.
