What have you been doing today?

Loading the camper with goodies ready for a three day stay on a site set in woods around an old gunpowder works, lots of wildlife, good walks & pubs & an NT property to visit.

Well, that went well. Just about got 24 hours out of it before I came out and found it like this. :mad: Another trip back to the body shop for me. :cry:

At least they did that…a lot of people would have just scarpered. Still an inconvenience though for you…
 
Went for a lovely cruise this morning, had coffee and croissants with the most splendid sea view.

Bought some bits to clean my car. 2 Stage foam and towels and all sorts.

Had friends over, tested my new bbq. Now planning the week ahead.
 
Went to the circus with my family this afternoon. My grandson had a fantastic time. No animals, just humans. Jugglers, acrobats, knife throwers, clowns, human cannonball etc etc. a real small team. One of the dancers who was also the knife throwing assistant and human cannonball assistant also sold me a toy for my grandson before it started as well as serving me with some chips in the interval! Many of them multi-tasked.

I had four neighbours bump my car - three of them confessed and paid for the damage so I had it done cheaply. all reversed without looking, except for a cyclist who lost control of her bike.

that car had several resprayed panels, and I had the bonnet done to match

I'll never forget when I was about 14 or 15 I went to a fairground with a mate and they had a striptease knife throwing act, naturally we joined the queue. The knife throwing bloke must have been in his seventies, he was dressed as a cowboy and his unattractive stripper was dressed as an indian, at the climax of the show she whipped her top off to reveal a pair of saggy breasts covered in scars which I assume were the result of workplace accidents. It took me years to recover from that.
