What is that pole sticking up in the lawn?.Is the gravel trench for drainage?

it's my favourite tool, pick-axe jammed into the bottom of a heavy bit of steel pipe (also has a fork attachment) but best of all it don't have a USB, bluetooth connection or needs to be connected to an iPhone.

its pretty useful when the going gets tough.

My wife made her shopping list out before she went to work this morning as she was going to do a big shop for us and her mother at around 4.00 when she reckons the queues have gone down at Sainsbury. I disagreed so I’ve just been up there to (a) surprise her when she gets home and (b) to prove her theory wrong. The bloody queue was twice round the car park so I slunk back home and I think I’ll keep quiet about it.

We have been going to our local supermarket at 18 30 no more than 10 or so folk in there, ok so some of the shelves were a bit sparse but got everything on the list

I've been going at about 10am on Saturdays, queues have so far varied from about 5 - 20 mins. But then I don't have much else to do on a Saturday atm and frankly its just nice to be out of the house even if I am stood in a queue, headphones on, no one invading my space like the usual shopping experience - some me time! That said my local Sainsburys is pretty rural so quieter than most.

I crept back at 12.00 hoping that everyone would be at home having lunch and they were! Straight in, no queuing and got everything on both ours and the MIL's list except for anti bac wipes and eggs. They have eggs up the mini mart so I’ll get them when we actually run out. Had it all indoors, packed away before the wife came home at 1.30. Mission completed.

Tomorrow I shall go for a walk on the local beach. about 500 yds away. Before you ask, almost certainly will be deserted, if not, obs I will go home. Apart from that work as normal.
