Just left, good evening/night with matesWent to a 'spoons for lunch, still there .
it seems like the inside of the washing machine is coated with Parrafin!
Popped over the allotment to see how my Christmas dinner veg is coming on. Everything is fine - carrots, parsnips, spuds and sprouts but I did plant some more carrots late in July. I dug a few of those up today to see how they are going. Looks like I might have planted them just a little too late.

It’s just finished a third 90° wash with some old dog towels. Still smell it. I've given the drum and seal a good wipe over and it’s on another 90° wash with my old dust sheets in there. This time though, I’ve added three dishwasher tablets and half a bottle of white wine vinegar. Because it’s an eco machine and doesn’t use much water, I’ve also added 4 kettles of water to bring the level up and give the drum a good thrashing. I’ll leave that running while I pop up Sainsbury’s and see if they have anything else I can use. Fingers crossed! There's mixed advice on using dishwasher tablets to clean washing machines. Meanwhile, I’ve set the machine into 'maintenance' mode and added a product I picked up at Sainsbury’s. This:

Whether my smell is in the 99.99% of smells it removes remains to be seen. Fingers crossed, again!
My thoughts exactly.Made by a firm with "Dr" in its name, so there's no doubting their credentials
