That's cold. In Cornwall it rarely goes that low, I've probably only had to scrape ice off my windscreen a handful of times in the last 15 years, on the downside, it p155es down with rain most of the winter.

-1.3 outdoors here, as actually measured. The temperature had fallen to 17C, indoors, overnight, heating - set to 16C, didn't need to fire. I got up at 08:30. I'm perfectly comfortable at 17C, with 2 layers on T shirt, sweatshirt, and jogging bottoms. It takes me a while, after getting out of bed, to even begin to feel the cold. At 10 the heating changes to 18C, for the rest of the day, until we settle down for the night.

As it happens, we are! Anyway, that's not high. We get used to the heat. We normally keep knocking it up by half a degree throughout the day and it’s normally on 23.5 by the time we go to bed.

How's your gas bill? Are you still on that cheap fix?

Slightly related. My Auntie has just received a £3,500 refund after cutting her usage over this past year

Not anymore - ended in October. Still about £450 in credit though. Not fixed it again as the standard rate is still cheaper than the fix.
