What have you bought today?

Well, as it's Christmas and the wife has had various new things over the past years while I just can't be bothered with them I finally decided I need a new hobby so have got one of these baby's:

I am currently scouring the 3D model sites for something decent to make instead of just more ornaments.

What’s on the C4 website - the tour we're going to see doesn’t start until October next year?

The production company making 'chateau' refused to work with them because they were nasty and abusive to the production team, Angel in particular was very abusive.

Dick used to be OK, did a bit of local charity stuff, helped a few worthy causes, Mrs filly has met him numerous times because of this. After he did a program with his son the son became an 'executive chef' for some local food processors and restaurants, didn't last.

Dick left his missus in Tywardreath and set up with the 'angel' and they became overnight stars with the chateau programme.

I enjoyed a few episodes but it became clear they were suddenly too big for their own boots.

Dick and Angel became 'superstars', and s**t on everyone around them because they could, and because they were important, and because everyone else wasn't.

I always enjoy a rags to riches story, working class lad makes good, working class lad makes good and helps his former community, etc etc.

Dick and Angel s******g on supporting workers ain't one of them stories.

Funny enough, mrs Motties mate who bred our Susie said she couldn’t stand the ****s when I told her I had got some tickets to see them. Told me that he had ****ed off and left his wife for 'Angel' and that he had kids nearly the same age as her. Oh well, half the people you see in films, on the telly and in public life aren’t the same as their public 'self' in private. Take our own Boris for example……

Took a walk with Mrs Mottie up to our local department store to see if there was anything worthwhile in the sale. Bought a pair of Gant jeans, 30% off, a Gant shirt, 50% off and a set of whisky tumblers, 30% off. I do try to spend my money local if I can - it’s this department store that is keeping this High Street going.

Blimey, that was quick! 14,000 Amex points came today, I converted them plus the 1,500 I already had into Avios. That will take 3 days and then I have my Avios account set up to convert them to Nectar every Monday. Then it’s goodbye to Amex before the annual £195 fee kicks in. ;)

Also got an extra 2500 Amex points for hitting another spend target. Converted them all to Avios, then to nectar and today they turned up in my nectar account. Just paid my Amex off, finished with it now so I’m going to cancel it in January. Had a good run. Next year, I’m signing Mrs Mottie up for one. ;)

My jeans always wear out at the knackers first. Just above the knees……
Just above the knees is where I find my scro. Tum.

Never knew you could sit on the damn thing until last week. When the heck did that happen?
