Hard and soft Brexit are terms created by the media... There is Brexit, anything after that is what we negotiate as a free and democratic state.

Despite TM stating categorically that "no deal is better than a bad deal".
It seems to me that with all the avoidance of entering into discussions a more accurate strap line would be "no deal is easier than any deal". Maybe TM cannot enter into discussions because there is no plan! They do not know what they want!

I think most of us understand the difference between soft and hard Brexit. However, soft Brexit will undoubtedly be more expensive in the long run than staying in.
A hard Brexit will undoubtedly be more expensive initially (5 -10 years, maybe longer) than any other option.

The EU have stated clearly that they are about the interests of the 27 and preserving the union. They have also said "UK must not be better off". its pretty clear that preserving the union is about ensuring the UK is worse off.

What they actually said was, "The UK should not have any greater access or advantages than any other member nation."
Which is pretty obvious stuff. You cannot be a member of a club, then resign and still maintain the same or better advantages.

Do not be silly. That is the daftest comment I have seen for a while. The EU is obviously in the ascendancy with Macron (and the legislature) and Merkel.
They have specifically said that they do not wish to punish the UK.
They can see the chaos that we are causing ourselves. They do not need to intervene in our own self-made chaotic and confused situation.

Who cares about credibillity? If the others read what I type and like it, then great but I'm not needy like you, if they don't like it then who cares? Folk like you can change nothing...
