When we die

as a child, reliseing the truth that we will die, was met more whith sadness than fear. but i accepted that death was unavoidable.
i think a lot of folks, fear growing old more than dieing.

That's probably true, but it's the fear of dying which has driven the need for a belief in an afterlife. Hence religion.
 
The fear of my neighbours' parking their camper/mobile home outside my house, concerns me more. Will I ever see daylight again :?:

A man arrives at the gates of heaven. St peter asks, "religion?"
the man says "Methodist"
St peter looks down his list and says "go to room 24 but be very quiet as you pass room 8 "
Another man arrives at the gate's of heaven and St peter asks "religion?"
"Its Baptist" replies the man
"well go to room 18 but be very quiet as you pass room 8".
A third man arrives at the gate's
"Jewish" he replies
St peter says "Go to room 11 but be very quiet as you pass room room 8"
The man says "I can understand there being different rooms for different religions, but why must I be quiet as I pass room 8 ? "
St peter tells him "Well the jehovahs witnesses are in room 8, and they think their the only one's here .
