Why is there no plan?

Perhaps you can show me ellals posts where he is willing to take in any other nations refugees.
I guess you didn't quite understand...
Apart from the fact that we now have more space for obvious reasons (you're not very good at joining up the dots are you), I suspect also that like many others this seems much closer to home...
Do yourself a favour...

Get an education and learn to read!

It's (almost) not too late for you :)

It's not a conundrum. It was an explanation, for you, to clear up any confusion you appear to be having differentiating between refugees, economic migrants and illegal immigrants.
I'll repeat the explanation again for you.

That's what immigration have to sort out.
It is a minefield.
Are you a economic migrant/ in fear for your life/ have no home.
If your passport is really yours, or been burnt with your home or at the bottom of the English channel. Do you really come from the country you say you come from.

Do you need more help than the next person......

Ellal has not made any differentiation between any refugees.

To help Ukranian refugees in the UK...

We have been trying to find out where we can offer our help since last wednesday, as we have space to spare to put up a small family...

You'll note it's not worded "To help refugees in the UK". Why? Simples. Because there are no Ukrainian refugees in the U.K.

I think I'll help the Māori refugees in the U.K. Oops, there aren't none, so I'm safe. ;)

But I understand how you will paint another poster in as bad a light as you can manage. I'm familiar with you vindictiveness. For you, it's all about who said anything, rather than the 'what' was said.

I look at myself differently now.......... I'm a monster

And why is that?

Oh that's right, let's go back to my original first post in this topic!

There is no credible system to allow them in...

So I guess that lets you get off 'scot-free' as far as your warped conscience (lack of) goes...

I hope you can live with your selfish view on life...

But karma will get you one way or another, and I say that with no pleasure!

Says on the news just now that 760 visas have been granted. Hopefully there's a family for Ellal to house.

@ellal Might be worth asking again. (y)

Watching BBC news now - 1,200,000 Ukrainians in Poland already, and no refugee camps.
Polish people opening their homes to families coming in.
Lesson for us all here.

During WW1 and WW2 we were sheltered from the true horrors of war - with the exception of the Blitz, we were not immediately impacted on British soil. For countries on the front lines, they still remember what it was like to lose everything forever, and have nowhere to go, and to watch as loved ones grow weak, starve and ultimately die while looking for shelter. Nearly 18% of Poland's population died during World War II (along with 90% of all Polish Jews). In those days, that was like every 4th home being killed.

Lest we forget. I sometimes think we did.

As usual you show your ignorance...

Nothing new there!

The visas so far issued have only been for Ukranians with family in the UK...

But since we have to get to the lowest levels of simplicity for you, would you answer the following...

If the visa system were to be changed and come more in line with the one in place in the EU and allow in Ukranian refugees without family in the UK, would you be willing to offer accommodation?

Yes or no!

You'll need a visa before arriving. In fact you'll need a visa before boarding a plane or a boat, otherwise you won't be allowed to board.

Years back when Australia were turning away migrant boats ...it was said that this was a fraction of the illegal overstayers who entered the country via the Air. With Visas

o_O:confused:
How can the visa-overstayers, who presumably arrived by air, be any fraction of the refugees arriving by boat. o_O
Do you mean the numbers of one group in comparison to the numbers in the other group?

It's irrelevant anyway, because the refugees arriving by boat are refugees, and the visa-overstayers are illegal immigrants. Two different sorts of 'arrivals'.

Already asked and already answered.
What about the Syrians already over here. Don't fancy helping one of those?

So why ask again?
Ellal asked me a question and I answered. Ellal asked me the same question again. Hence 'already asked, already answered'.
I asked Ellal a question which was not answered so I've asked again. Keep up.
