Zion and the Art of Armageddon

Israeli crowds have stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem, as well as villages in the occupied West Bank, as they marked a Jewish holiday. Far-right national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir led a crowd of thousands into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem on Tuesday and performed prayers. Despite Jewish religious rites being banned at the location, Israeli police reportedly offered protection, as well as to illegal settlers involved in violence in the West Bank. @Al Jazz

I can imagine the squeals of outrage if the Labour Minister for Defence, John Healy, led a pro-Palestinian protest into a London Synagogue. Yet the pro-Zionist western media remain silent.

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor reports that out of nearly 17,000 Palestinian children killed by Israel in the Gaza Strip since October 7, about 2,100 were babies under the age of two.

Is Bibi a modern Herod?

Seemingly the babies were concealing Hamas military facilities.

That report names the numbers of babies under two killed...

How about under 5 days old!

"Newborn twins were reportedly killed in an Israeli strike in Gaza while their father was at a local government office to register their birth.

Asser, a boy, and Ayssel, a girl, were just four days old when their father Mohammed Abu al-Qumsan went to collect their birth certificates.

While he was away, his neighbours called to say their home in Deir al Balah had been bombed.

The strike also killed his wife and the twins' grandmother"

Birth and death certificates on the same day!

No doubt the usual apologists will soon be along to claim that Hamas were in their house...

But just like the IDF they will provide no proof !

An odd BBC prog on the use of AI in war kit strayed into Gaza. One of our own pilots. There was talk of collateral damage related to AI. He mentioned that various countries do take different views on extent. Pretty clear he wasn't happy about Israel's approach. The interviewer asked about Gaza as the collateral aspect had cropped up for other reasons - could AI reduce it.

Some US people actually doing the job in Iraq commented on targetting individuals probably killing more civilians than needed - also that they didn't kill the targets. Further up the tree. Civilians carrying on as normal so need for some destruction.

In some ways this all relates to a proportional response. A factor that should be considered.

Against this is a general view that terrorists can not be allowed to achieve their aims however the counter can be that negotiating properly with them can work out.

I wonder what Biking says?
...I'm all in favour of peaceful protest. As long as they don't incite hatred of innocent people or call for people's throats to be cut or houses to be burned.

Just an average Israeli getting on with the job of genocide.

"I was only obeying orders."

"As eyewitnesses and video confirmed, the child Muhammad Ayyoub posed no conceivable danger to heavily armed Israeli occupation forces stationed dozens of meters away behind fences and earthen fortifications on the other side of the Gaza boundary when he was killed."

"Stirring up racist hatred" is not an offence in Israel (as long as the targets are Arabs)

"Palestinians have been described as "human animals" and "beasts", with one former Israeli general saying his military "must create an unprecedented humanitarian disaster in Gaza"
