I got bored coming back from Exeter one night & wound it up past Bridgewater, when i got home i recalled the max speed on the screen to see how fast i had been going. :D :D

Although I'm not a motorbikelist myself, I remember when we were lads, a lot of my pals had 50s and they spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to go faster and then riding their bikes as fast as they would go...Everywhere.

Now these same guys are middle aged and some have gone back to bikes as they can now afford to buy powerful sports bikes..... I find it a little embarrassing that a guy who would dream of having a "Zed Fow" has now bought a "Havabashiknackercrackie ten thousand" now rides it round never exeeding the speed limit  Worse is that I have to overtake them in my diesel van so well done Pred in making reasonable progress... Enjoy

beautiful bike (do you still have it?)...

interesting facts bout the BB..

the CBR 1100xx super blackbird became the worlds fastest production motorbike beating the ZX11 Ninja (1997 i think)

the hayabuser was produced specifically to beat the blackbird..which it did, unrestricted....the hayabuser can do 248 mph....

It's an unanswerable question I know, but I'll ask it anyway - what makes one wish to travel at such high speeds?
