You sound like in a hurry. Why? They can fight the war for as long as they like. America only won after 20 years in Afghanistan. If Russia can do it in 19 years and 11 months in ukraine, it would have done a better job. There's plenty of time left to go.

When fighting for existence, you use whatever at hand. What matter even greater than logistics is the will to survive. China had no logistics, vietnam had no logistics, yet they did fine in the korean and vietnam wars. The only logistics the afghans had were some sandals. No problems there.
Maybe, maybe not, you'll never know.
