The electoral fraud issue is going nowhere, Starmer is using it to "clear her name" on tax evasion.

The Tories were the ones who made the referral, and have twice asked for it to be investigated. They can hardly complain about the result. What do you think about the police investigating an offence when the deadline for prosecution passed at least seven years ago?
