BBC news Black out

You guys have become so damned excited about that darned channel that I thought it only fair to do some research on your behalf. No, don't thank me.....

So I tuned into GBN this evening, and what did I find? A parade of raving lefties, that's what!

First, Nigel Nelson, ex-political editor of the Labour-supporting Daily Mirror. Then who should come along but former Labour MP and Minister in the Blair government Denis McShane--yes, he of the expenses fiddle--followed by former left wing Labour MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle. But it doesn't stop there: alongside raving Righty Jacob Rees Mogg was liberal commentator Amy Nickell-Turner, and some woman whose name I missed but was billed as an "anti racism campaigner". Then to cap it all, after 9pm who should pop up but left wing commentator Benjamin Butterworth, who, I'm reliably informed, writes for the Independent and the Guardian.

Lack of balance? You betcha!!
No one said they don't have LW guests on the show. Why wouldn't they. You can ridicule anyone you care to, with the clever editing. You think that means GBNews is not unashamedly RW biased? FFS, lol.

That's a lot of words to say GBNews is mainly RW bullshít.
There isn't really much point in trying to debate with you, is there? You've totally ignored my observation, based on fact, that GBN gives plenty of airtime to left wing commentators. You prefer to avoid any inconvenient truths that threaten your tired old preconceptions and recycle the same half-witted playground invective instead.

Today, GBN's Budget panel included a journalist, an ex-Labour MP, a Tory MP, a serving Labour MP and an independent financial expert. No sign of pro right wing imbalance there either. But if you must insist on continuing to thumb your nose and resist any attempts at grown up discussion, then I won't waste any more of the precious time that you could spend playing on the local swings.

Clever editing? Can I suggest that if you must insist on getting up early in the morning and posting here, you have some coffee and wake up first. An uninformed person who is half asleep is even more likely to post idiotic nonsense than one who is wide awake.

Perhaps you meant to write 'UK law' when you confusingly wrote left wing glove puppets. Read and weep boyo.

GBNews, ffs.
I meant people like you, old son. Slavishly doing the bidding of those who want just one source of news, one that soothes their pathological need to be right about everything. Incidentally, can you not parcel up your nonsense in one neat package, to save me trawling through a bunch of posts that look as if they've been written by a Speak and Spell machine? Thanks in advance.

You gave an anecdote, which isn't useless but it doesn't show they are balanced or to demonstrate they aren't mostly right wing.

How many times has GBNews been sanctioned for giving inappropriate coverage to left wing topics? None, every time it has been for right wing content.

If you think they are a balanced source of news then your understanding of left and right wing politics is wildly out of step with the rest of the country.

You mean I'm to blame for shutting down GBNews because I refuse to watch the garbage and choose fair and impartial news sources instead?

Quit sniffing glue mate.

The vast majority of the media in this country is owned by right wing billionaires.

And those highly influential lobby groups masquerading as think tanks are almost all right wing, ie Tufton street / IEA / climate change denial etc

I don’t want one source of news just a fair representation.

The title of this thread is bolox, it claims the BBC has done a blackout of certain news items…..but the OP actually admits the stories are all covered by the BBC

Bit of free advice for you, old lad.

You clearly don't understand how to conduct a rational discussion about politics, but don't despair: there's a way forward. Join a couple of political forums elsewhere, and observe how others do it. See how they make an argument, and how others counter that argument. Take particular note of how they bother their asses to type more than a couple of sneery lines, and how they don't end their posts with either an insult or the kind of device that children use when they've just been given their first mobile phone: for example, LOL or FFS.

When you've learned from the adults, come back here and see if you can improve your performance, because believe me, its currently about as dire as it could be.

Now, I reckon I've wasted enough time humouring your inane, meaningless flannel by replying to it, so its Sayonara from me, and "FFS" from you.

Because apparently, "FFS" is all you've got.

Aunty BeeB is obviously a left-wing organisation: when they find a problem it's dealt with swiftly, unlike a right-wing group who deny, avoid, and try to weasel their way out of it...

Blimey you a fan of the BBC now ?? :ROFLMAO:

Let me be clear about what I’m saying: that there is more balance in GBN than others have suggested, yes, though the extent of that balance and its influence on their output has to be seen in the light of an anti-immigration, pro Daily-Telegraph-reader agenda. I’d be the first to acknowledge the existence that agenda but I also welcome the fact that they provide a voice from “another place”. And of course all news outlets have some kind of agenda, because they are staffed by humans, not robots.

That perfectly sums him up.

Bravo!!
