Yeah good old Boris, the man who pushed through a trade that put a customs border inside the United Kingdom. A true, treacherous Brit.
£2.5 BILLION (UK) tourism black hole, that Tory rags are trying to blame on Covid, yet our European friends abroad are asking the Brits NOT visit them. Go figure.

Brexit - total pile of shít.

What did you win?

We're going to Crete in a few weeks time. €10 a night tourist tax we will be paying because we are staying in 5* accommodation. Makes that £2 a year for a visa seem negligible.

Ah, so the 7 Euro fee is a 'brexit bonus'?

Would it have been applied to a member of the EU?

But then there is more...

"After intense dialogues with Member States, with you, with the different stakeholders – I (EU home affairs commissioner Ylva Johansson) have decided that the Entry/Exit System will enter into operations on 10 November."

She said the ETIAS visa scheme would launch six months later, according to the Times.

Ms Johansson said the EES system would mean "every single airport", "harbour" or "road into Europe" would have strict digital border controls.

More than 700 million tourists entered Europe last year, she said, and the new systems would help Europeans "sleep safer".

The rules would mean "we will know if people stay too long" and it "will make it harder for criminals, terrorists or Russian spies to use fake passports", she added"

So in order to enter the EU/EEA, UK citizens are treated the same as criminals or terrorists...

Fingerprints, digital ID etc...

Is that another 'brexit bonus'?

It’s a Brexit insignificance.
Ah, so you think all those extra costs and hassles that are adding up are worth whatever 'it' is you keep claiming is a 'bonus'...

Still waiting to hear about a single 'brexit bonus' from any brexiteer with proof ;)

ETIAS was originally scheduled to launch in 2022 but has been postponed multiple times. The most recent change pushes the launch from 2024 to 2025.

Pretty standard in tourist destinations throughout the world and has been for decades in some of them

i see our service personnel dont need this etias when traveling to defend them . Guess they dont want to hold them up a customs before they put their lives on the line defending Europe yet again
