I believe there was something in that too, the remain camp seemed a bit slow off the mark to me to get out there and say their piece because nobody really thought we'd be leaving the EU. Nobody with charisma seemed to take on Farage properly either. It was a bit lacklustre, whereas Farage for all his faults and lies was seen out there day after day campaigning.. and having pints in the pub.
