What are those stupid things that annoy you, but you know they shouldn't really?

Mine is people who hold their knife like a pencil. Grrrr.

cashiers who give me my change with the notes in the palm of my hand, then the coins on top

the correct way is to put the coins in the palm and then hand the notes over for the customer to grasp under their thumb. Not many do this though.

people who de-ice their cars by pouring hot water over them - while you do it the hard, but safe way with buckets of de-icer  - you just have to be content with them having brittle windows and hope and pray they crack BEFORE they set off ;) cruel i know, and picky

Cantacerous female doctor's receptionists that look at you over their horn-rimmed glasses like you were a piece of poo - and almost orgasm when they say the word 'doctor'. Like he was God incarnate.

any kind of "helpline" where you have to listen to music at all, but most of all for 20+ minutes.....

Why can't we just go back to the 60's when everything was done with pen and paper, there were no mobile phones, faxes e-mail, internet. The telephone was not used to access bank accounts, you walked into a building and spoke to a human to do that.

There is very little face-to-face human interaction in everyday life these days - if you're lucky you will speak to someone on the phone (if you ever get through...)

Modern life (I'm only 39, b.1966, btw!) is so impersonal now. Lonliness will become epidemic. Even the supermarkets have started using self-service checkouts.....

It's very sad, I think.

Why can't we ban people from public places (like pubs, bars) who've put on so much 'cheap' perfume my allergy is triggered and for a while I can't breathe properly? And then they have the nerve to question my smoking? There must be more people around who have respiratory 'allergies' that are made worse by these chemical smells, why don't we hear more complaints about this?

(Yes I know, smoking is bad for me, but that's not the point here)

Better empip?

People who park directly opposite your drive making impossible to get in or out. You then have to ask the neighbours really nicely to get their visitors car moved, when all you really want to do is shout at the inconsiderate, selfish no brain inbreds.

Job Centres, big signs in side, 'Were here to help you' when they are actually no help what so ever, just robots who think everyone who is unemployed is milking the system.

The wife, says she's tired of the same ol meals each week, when asked what would you like then you get the 'I don't know' reply. :

They only missed the 'We ' from the sign you saw, surely? Mind you that does suggest they HAD helped at some time.

Cars with large bore drainpipes instead of silencers - why do the police ignore them?
