Depends on how you qualify alone.
The Voyager spacecraft travelling at 10 miles per second will take 70,000 years to reach the nearest star, Alpha Centauri. (If it was aimed correctly)
So a round journey of 140,000 years.
So even if ( big if ) there was life on a planet around this Star, I would still say we are alone.
As regards other life elsewhere, absolutely so, with an estimated 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in the observable universe.
It is beyond belief, that we are truly alone.
