Death row prisoners cost the state a heck of a lot more than regular con's - correct.

No imo that’s a load of nonsense in respect to lifers / convicted murderers

Not really relevant but

Those in broadmoor cost the state 250 grand a year per inmate

But afaik broad moor is not a prison so it’s irrelevant although imho there are a few in there that would be dispatched

No. Totally missing the point.

WHO EXACTLY decides any case is clear cut.

It's not about what is or isn't clear on a forum. On a legal, state level, somebody has to make that decision. Who should it be?

Too easy just to use slogans !

Given a decent financial package with perks I would take the job and
I would decide

Don’t see a problem ?

Lee rigby
Joe cox
David amiss

I would start with them cases

In America I would guess it's extra staffing costs. Higher security, suicide watch. In the UK I believe the sentence was carried out more quickly. But I haven't actually checked that!

Well
Perhaps bump em off early than so as to save on costs

Just because the US do some thing does not mean the UK has to

It could all be sorted in 6 months tops and that’s pushing it imo

Under certain circumstances imo some found guilty would be bumped off within a week

But I suppose we should maintain some standards so give it a month ???

These two legal scholars have the same idea as me :LOL:

The authors propose that the requisite burden of proof in the penalty phase of a capital trial should be raised from beyond a reasonable doubt to beyond all possible doubt.

Still missing the point.

Who is going to be authorised to decide what's clear cut and what's not?

If its not clear cut, why is there ahy sentence issued. If it is clear cut and later turns out to be wrong, as has happened before?

It's a great shout on a forum. It's not so easy in reality. But gotta love a slogan

You see hard facts as nonsense? Probably how your 'ed is wired. 'Tis the way it is. Suck it up all of you that think it's a wise choice economically to keep them on death row.
Shmucks.

schmuck :giggle: :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:

Transam very recently suggested that UK consult the practises of El Salvador.
Now here is, denying the relevance of what happens in others countries.

You have to admire his consistency. :ROFLMAO:

Rather than going round in circles spouting your usual stuff, just try answering.

Who do you propose makes the decision that it is clear cut? Be specific.

It's so easy on the forum, I know. Now take it a step further.

If the law changed tomorrow, it wouldn't be retrospective.
So those murders are irrelevant.
You need to state your case for the future, not the past.

WHO makes the decision? I cannot make the question any simpler, even for you.

Just to make it CLEAR CUT for you. Ive never said they are not clear cut cases. Ive asked who makes the legal decision that they are ?
