Dominic Raab. How long has he got.......

Fair comment - but i'd much rather someone let off steam than the sneaky back-stabbers who go on a campaign of Chinese Whispers to poison the atmosphere...no way would i ever work in an office.

The underlings he abused and humiliated are not allowed to respond in kind.

If the government ( and other agencies) didn't disregaqrd Human/Consumer etc Rights, there would be no need or work for 'compo lawyers.'
Too many Ambulance chasers, no win no fee punters, have undermined the Judicial system.
Having said that, i myself he benefited to the tune of a lot of 1000s thanks to the the advice of a compo lawyer.
He convinced me and a company i worked for years ago that i had an ailment that i didn't know i had.

They wouldn't have to respond at all if they were doing the job to a standard required by the minister in charge of the department.
If they're of a similar standard to the fresh intake of ****wits at the BBC, an ear wigging would be the least of their problems.

Quite rightly so given that it was because Raab had given Hugh Elliot (Ambassador to Spain) a *******ing for proposing allowing Spanish soldiers to be stationed in Gibraltar during Brexit negotiations, which was completely against the UK govt position.
That dressing down was one of the upheld complaints.
Frankly Raab didn't go far enough, Hugh Elliot should have been done for treason.
What about French soldiers on British soil at Dover?

It was perfectly reasonable to float the idea as part of a range of options. A good example of Civil Service impartiality.

Blup

No surprise some on here want to reward mediocrity. Way of the world now.

You mean, useless idiots like Raab, Truss, Hancock, Braverman, Kwarteng climbing to the top of the Tory party and being given power in the country?

That because Brexer Prime Ministers like Johnson had to scrape the bottom of a very shallow barrel.

Should've been JohnD in government if only he wasn’t too busy driving to London to visit friends a hundered times a year or on here nit picking and telling everyone how bad the Tories are….

Do civil servants have to go before the public every five years to get re elected?

Are you attempting to suggest that Johnson's cabinet did not include useless idiots?

Was this an impediment to gaining their overpaid positions?

Do you seriously believe that the nation sends skilled diplomats to foreign countries, but needs them to tell ministers only what they want to hear?
