Excess Deaths Debate 16th January 2024

The problem with that statistic is that that covid was only a threat to 1% of the population.
70'000'000 deaths?

Didn't know it was that bad. And that's in spite of all the hospital admissions, days off work, long covid. Heck of a dangerous virus. Thank the lord for the Covid vaccine.

Because of the treat to their jobs. I know load of people who didn’t want it but had bills to pay.

It was an absolute disgrace.
There was no threat when they took the vaccine. That came later.

Have you not read the thread?

This was published on 3rd December 2021 doubting the need for mandatory vaccination as only 8% of NHS workers remained unvaccinated.

Mandatory vaccinations didn't come in until 6th Jan 2022.

"On 6 January 2022, the Government made new legislation1, approved by Parliament, which amended the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 (“the2014 Regulations”). This extends the scope of mandatory vaccination requirements for staff beyond registered care homes to health and wider social care settings in England."

92% of NHS staff were vaccinated before the mandatory threat came in.

If by threat you mean fatal.

And if you ignore the people who were merely hospitalised or left with long term reduced capacity.

And of course you had no Idea who that 1% were.

And those who would have otherwise been "saved", had the NHS not already collapsed after being overwhelmed (a real risk, without mitigations in place).

There was! And the threat to care workers, which I witnessed first hand.

Don’t talk about things you’ve only read about. When others have real experience of it.

The report said that of the 208 000 NHS staff who weren’t currently vaccinated 54 000 (26%) would take up the vaccine under the law and 126 000 (61%) would leave their jobs.

126k would leave their jobs! Sums it up perfectly for me. And the consultation process was started well before all this.

How many were currently vaccinated?

92% of NHS staff had the vaccine by December 2021. The mandatory threat was in January 2022.

I'm sorry you disagree, but facts are facts.

As I’ve said, The threat was around long before. Fear mongers beating their drums, whispering the loss of jobs.

Good on the 126k and the care home workers “only in England” forced to take the jab or lose their job, who stood up to the pressure.

Follow the money…..

Nonsense.

Then again they didn't think much of their patients if they refused a harmless jab.

As opposed to a government blackmailing NHS staff hoping they don't leave and leave the NHS in an even more perilous state.

I've no idea what that even means.

It’s not nonsense, it’s the truth.

Taking the jab wouldn’t protect the patients though wouid
It! That’s complete rubbish, because as we’ve established it doesn’t stop transmission!!

It’s hard to admit you’ve been had.
