Farage Kent Coast discuss

Nowt you can do about it in any case boyo.
I don't see how anyone can do much about it, other than erect a Trump wall.
UK is honour (international treaties?) bound to deal with them appropriately.
Sending them back out to sea is not the sort of action of a civilised society, and probably illegal.
UK can moan to France. What can France do, arrest them, process them, moan to Italy, Germany etc, and so on down the line.
But if the migrants are processed in France, then when they are wandering around France, now with some immunity against detention, they can try again to reach UK. The use of identity documents/Bio implants or some such method to ensure that migrants reaching UK can be identified as having been processed in France will ensure that the migrants in France remain underground to avoid detection and detention/processing.
The answer must be to work to resolve the issue as to why they are migrating in the first place.

Too small a calibre for major warships. A navy would never permit a potential target close the ship to 1000yds.
Royal Navy larger calibre guns are used primarily for Naval Gun Support to land forces at ranges of up to 12 miles and more as effectively demonstrated during the Falklands War.

Farage is pointing it out because the media/news channels aren't.
He banged on about UK independence ................. and achieved it.
He's now banging on about illegal immigrants ................. until someone does something to stop it.

utter hogwash.

brexit wont achieve UK independence. It is a means for the rich and wealthy to deregulate and make money out of the chaos.

do tell me where leaving the EU and then signing up to a rubbish deal with the US gains the UK any independence whatsoever
do tell me how putting a customs border inside the United Kingdom is anything but a reduction of independence.
do tell me how leaving an economic superpower to become a small country amongst the superpowers of EU, USA and China is anything but a loss of independence.

brexit wont achieve UK independence.

It may bring English independence though.

Boris and the Cons have been very resentful of the limited freedoms the other nations have exercised in the last seven days.

which is odd, considering how hard they've worked to push them away.

Ok Nigel and his 'racial hatred propaganda' seems to have infiltrated the BBC also, i'm surprised here as they don't normally post such 'racial hatred ' exactly the same as Nigel is posting. Why is this? How can our National funded service be allowed to commit such atrocities? Someone just said to me calm down it's facts fest, using the word 'hate and racial' associated to these facts is nothing more than your attempt to invalidate and shame people for reporting such. Hmm ok well I guess the reporter must be a Brexiteer/race hate campaigner who somehow managed to post this on the BBC site? No doubt it will be removed soon, oh im not getting it am i, what do you mean they're reporting facts here?

there is a difference: the BBC is a news reporting media. Farage is a bloke who wants publicity and his base is xenophobic

its all very well people getting all uppity about the numbers of refugees coming across in boats, but getting enraged doesnt solve the problem.

If the argument is: 'we dont want them here', then presumably that argument holds true for every country.
If country wants them, where do they end up?

Sorry, festive.
Reporting news is perfectly OK, and when you report what someone has said, and you correctly attribute those comments to the individuals, then the reporter is not being biased in his/her reporting, except, of course, they choose to report some news, and ignore other news.
".... the county council leader has said.
Roger Gough claimed...
...he said.
.....the Immigration Services Union said.
.....Mr Gough said."

You see the difference?

To be sure, an organisation can appear biased, or even be biased, by reporting certain issues, or even over-reporting certain issues, which suit their narrative. The tabloids provide perfect examples of such. Although some tabloids do go further by including such biased comments in their editorials, etc., and inventing 'dog whistle' headlines to appease their readers.

First of all no need to apologise this is healthy debate.
Ah ok so the bbc stating the facts without hateful speech attached to the same facts. Ah ok.. that’s right Farage the hate preacher... what about the frustrated with our government preacher? Plenty of them on here, are they preaching hate. No...they’re frustrated with lack of action or the wrong action.

Notch how enraged and frustrated are you daily about the government any opportunity you’re there sticking your knife in. Is it inciting hate against the government or is that your intention. Or are you just very frustrated with their policy. What if you had a voice I mean not just a few extreme left wing sympathisers on diynot forums  would you feel like expressing that in a controlled way?

In fact that reminds me of another new thread the admins can stress over shortly.

Notch how enraged and frustrated are you daily
Im neither enraged nor frustrated one iota, you are the one rattling your cage.

I've pointed out Farage is playing to his base prattling on about refugees -which is true.

So tell me -what is your solution?

If you don't want the refugees coming here, where should they go?

extreme left wing sympathisers
who is that?

extreme left wing sympathisers

Hang on, I thought extreme left wing sympathisers were supposed to all be anti-Semitic and racist - that's was most the tabloids told us during Corbin's reign, and was repeated often here? How can they be that, but not want to shoot, sink or propel in an otherwise impossibly polite theoretical way any refugees that arrive from over the Channel on flimsy pleasure dinghies?

This is all very confusing!

the tabloids

Today's RWRs are yesterday's Blackshirts, and the Express and the Mail are now, and were then, their rallying points.

A few of the words have changed.

The sentiments haven't.
