square headlights
Guessing, but probably a generic part?
Therefore, styling accommodating a cheap and non-bespoke part?

I had Sheerlines (3) & they had damn great Lucas P100 lamps with a solenoid to dip the reflector on the passenger side when the dip switch was pressed, that action also extinguished the driver's side lamp.Princess headlamps were trapezoid. They were put on the top model so obviously considered rather posh at the time.

I have a couple of P100 in the garage I inherited from my old dad. He told me once that if you see one going for less than £100, you should buy it.I had Sheerlines (3) & they had damn great Lucas P100 lamps with a solenoid to dip the reflector on the passenger side when the dip switch was pressed, that action also extinguished the driver's side lamp.
Interesting how such a set-up fares on today's roads, but then they were exempt from the MOT years ago.
Might be an idea to advertise them, cars that used them are fast becoming extinct.I have a couple of P100 in the garage I inherited from my old dad. He told me once that if you see one going for less than £100, you should buy it.
Look at the ridiculous fins on that Vauxhall, pretending to be American!
Indeed. Nobody does tasteless excess like the Yanks! Not pretending very well
Although they were comparatively rare when I started my Vauxhall apprenticeship in the early seventies, I can still remember the PA Cresta's ability to kneecap you getting in the bloody things! Had more contact with them when I used to do banger racing.Not-so fond: hitting my right knee on the wrap-around 'screen corner nearly every time I got into the driving seat.
Nonsense - it's fabulous.Indeed. Nobody does tasteless excess like the Yanks!
Each to their own, I guess... Doesn't do anything whatsoever for me, I'm afraid. Lardy, inefficient barges with vulgar shiny bits...Nonsense - it's fabulous.
That Eldorado is a work of art.Indeed. Nobody does tasteless excess like the Yanks!
