Off to Rwanda with her.

Apparently the formal 15% threshold for no confidence vote has been reached with the 1922 committee, but they have decided that they need to have 50% instead.

Tory party changing the rules to suit themselves shocker.

Are you sure?, my understanding is that 15% of the party (54 mp's) are required to initiate a no confidence vote, but 50% required to carry the motion.

They probably want more time to wheel and deal amongst themselves. If me you can be this or that etc. They would probably want to wait until full details are released as well. That comes in Nov.

Sunak did have enough MP's but from Truss's drinks sessions there are 2 basic groups. The One Country lot and then the ERG lot. Truss has had p'ups with both separately. She is also adamant that she will lead up to the next election.

C4 interviewed a USA FT economic pundit. Mogg comments were mentioned she responded that he was talking a load of ballcocks. :) That's what came up if the subtitles were on but similar to the word she actually used. ;) Guru-Murphy got the guide book out to explain why it wasn't bleeped out.

Apparently it's because she sent an email with some non-sensitive stuff from the wrong device.

It's a naked excuse for purging her.
Or maybe it's just getting rid of an evil piece of sh*t?

Come to think of it we could apply that definition to every nasty party mp!

The UK is now a complete laughing stock of a washed up country...

But of course the brexiteers will still tell us that the best is still to come - probably now in 100 years time, not 50 !

Sure? Absolutely not, I'm just repeating something I saw on twitter from someone who spoke to Brady(?)

"Braverman insisted she had committed only “a technical breach of the rules” and her resignation letter contained a broadside against Truss and hinted at the bitterness behind her departure.

Braverman accused Truss of breaking “key pledges” — including preparing to backtrack on a manifesto commitment to reduce overall immigration — and suggested that the prime minister should also resign. “Pretending we haven’t made mistakes, carrying on as if everyone can’t see we have made them, and hoping that things will magically come right is not serious politics,” she wrote. “I have made a mistake; I accept responsibility; I resign.”

Braverman admitted that she had used her personal email to send “a trusted parliamentary colleague” some information related to a written ministerial statement on immigration. She said she accepted it was a mistake, reported it to the cabinet secretary and resigned. However some in Whitehall believe the episode was used as a pretext by Truss to oust Braverman, a potential leadership rival and an outspoken critic of moves to increase immigration to solve a UK labour shortage."

The new Home Sec is someone who was trying to get rid of Truss - wheeling and dealing???

The fracking bill gets voted on tonight. Tory MP's to vote showing they support the party :ROFLMAO: noises that they will losse the whip if they don't. Might prove interesting.
