No, they are words for a person of the male sex, and a person of the female sex, respectively.

You want to persuade yourself that one can change into the other.

They can't.
You're still refusing to acknowledge that gender and sex are different.
That;'s you, right there, denying the existence of transgender people. You are implying that a person can only have the gender that complies with the sex label with which they were born.

A man can be a woman, if he so desires. If you refuse to accept reality, that's you denying the existence of transgender people. It's called transphobia. it's active TERF, when you post pictures of criminals, that's fomenting hatred towards transgenders.

No-one can change sex, but gender reassignment treatment can enable a man to resemble a woman. No, it can't enable a man to become pregnant, yet, but being a woman is not simply about reproductive ability. As far as transgenders are concened, becoming pregnant is not a priority. They can be as close as they can get to resembling a woman as current medicine and science allows. If they really want to have children, they can do what other infertile women do: surrogacy or adoption.

BTW, sex is not binary, nor immutable, it's a label assigned to a baby at birth, based on a visual inspection of their genitals.

Only with clothing an application of lipstick and a change of tackle. But a woman would still be a man.
"Man" and "woman" are genders. I've already presented the proof. And people can and do change genders.
It doesn't matter how many times you repeat rthe false narrative, it doesn't make it true.

Don't be a transphobe.

Don't be silly

I consistently assert the opposite.

You live in a looking-glass world.

Humpty Roy.
You are blatantly insisting that someone's gender must correspond to their sex assigned at birth, when you say that a man cannot be a woman, or when you rely on your definition of man and woman. That's denying that genders can be different to the sex label assigned at birth. That's denying the existence of transgenders, because their gender does not correspond to their label of sex assigned at birth.

So you are being transphobic, you're just doing it in a roundabout way to avoid it being blatantly obvious. But blatantly obvious it is.

Nonsense. I say that a person's sex is real and does not change. It is not "assigned" at birth, it is identified and recorded.

I have no interest in the gender or species people choose for themselves, or how often they change it, or whether it conforms to reality, because in current parlance, "gender" is not a fact, but a whim, a desire, a feeling, an opinion.

A trans man with a penis shouldn’t be allowed in a female toilet/changing room etc, etc

Im guessing you mean trans woman

theres no way of stopping a trans woman going into a female toilet or changing room -Id like to see you act as security guard stopping women you don’t think look feminine enough……you are likely to end up getting punched

Yawn, back to your strawman arguments.
No-one has suggested that sex is not real, or changes.
But gender reassignment treatment can allow someone to resemble the opposite sex, as close as medicine and science can allow.

Yawn, using different words than medical or scientific schools to suit your own ideological objection to transgenders.
Sex is a label — male or female — that you’re assigned by a doctor at birth based on the genitals you’re born with and the chromosomes you have. It goes on your birth certificate.
Assigned sex is a label that you’re given at birth based on medical factors, including your hormones, chromosomes, and genitals. Most people are assigned male or female, and this is what’s put on their birth certificates.

Sex Assignment

Sex assignment (often used interchangeably with gender assignment), is the sexing of an infant at birth as being male or female.

I have no interest in the gender or species people choose for themselves, or how often they change it, or whether it conforms to reality, because in current parlance, "gender" is not a fact, but a whim, a desire, a feeling, an opinion.
There you go again, refusing to accept that different genders exist in reality, and imposing roles on everybody according to their sex labels.

There are many different gender identities, including male, female, transgender, gender neutral, non-binary, agender, pangender, genderqueer, two-spirit, third gender, and all, none or a combination of these.

Genetic factors typically define a person’s sex, but gender refers to how they identify on the inside. Only an individual can determine their own gender identity, and it does not need to be fixed. Some examples of gender identity types include nonbinary, cisgender, and genderfluid.

if you're realizing that you don't (always) identify with the gender assigned to you at birth. Thankfully, it’s 2023, and many terms surrounding gender are becoming more widely recognized in our society.

You're out of step, and out of date on this one.

Active imagination there!

We should start a poll to see if anyone has honestly read one of Roy’s posts in its entirety.

I haven’t

Roy why don't you do a poll asking can someone who was born a Man now be a woman and see who agrees with you and who agrees with John.
