If the Government can just create money for free, with no downside, why don't they do it all the time. Why cut the winter fuel allowance? Why change the IHT rules for farmers? Why tax anyone at all?

Because the world is boiling and humanity faces extinction -- remember, if so it HAS to be done. If it isn't being done then why not.

Not saying that though am I ? I am saying world Gov's print the money (press a button these days ) to pay for the factories and workers to produce the eco stuff that will save the planet if the world is boiling and humanity faces extinction like we are constantly being told.
