No. It's despair.Hi Goldberg - is that a touch of sarcasm?
I would certainly care, because I'm a caring person, but I have a hunch that you didn't really mean that. For example, on Tuesday I worked until 9pm, getting several heating systems working, because I didn't want the occupants to feel cold and miserable.I doubt you'd care to be an OAP in a house getting colder by the day!!
I presume by the word "some" that you think I don't, but you're wrong. I know it's not easy, but there are ways to make it easier. One of them is to follow this guidance:Some of us appreciate these guys who give freely of their knowledge and expertise and endeavour to help. And it's not easy when they're conversing with a layman and not hands-on, seeing the situation for themselves.
Focussing on the basics would help. The number of pages is indicative of how well (or not) that focussing is happening. seco (particularly) has asked most of the right questions, but you've answered very few of those, and none of them with clarity. On the other hand, if you have a useful contribution I'd be happy to hear it.
I checked TRVs with system off - is the sound due to change in flow? If pin got pulled out, is it just pushed back in (surprised not retained in some way)?
I haven't asked for any information at all. What I gave you was an example of a template that had been used on this site in the past. By no means is that seeking "every last detail" - for example, it doesn't request pipe layout, gauge, and number of bends and elbows for the entire system. On the one hand you ask for every last detail then you say focus on the basics?
I really don't think that you have. You've certainly done a lot of unnecessary things, and not many of the necessary ones. I don't mean this offensively, but you're clearly a "fiddler" - this whole tangent involving the MZV being an example.I thought I'd been quite explicit and answered all questions raised and carried out the suggestions made.
You have heat to some radiators, and not others, so the primary problem is one of distribution of heat, not the precise category of controlling the system and when the MZV opens of doesn't open etc.I've certainly covered the info you suggest apart from saying it's a gas boiler (which may be evident from model number).
