After the dust had settled ,from the late eighties recessoin ,one of the tory grandees of the Thatcher era, I think it was Geoffrie Howe ,(to paraphrase)He said on an interview ,they thought it was it was a good result having high unemployment in the 80s because it kept wages low it seems to me were in the same situation with the open door policy on immigration .

1. The housing shortage is competley down to the "older" generation refusing planning permission on the fields around their houses, you know, those selfish ****ers who refuse houses to be built that might "spoil their view or enjoyment of fields", **** the fact that most houses where fields when they were kids.
2. The council housing shortage is down to the fact that chavs breeds more chavs, and the fact that people are putting themselves on the "list" that could actually afford a house if not for 1.
