Now hold on a second, bub. I have 3 gay friends, they are all Tories. I don't know any gay people who (openly) support Labour. However, I do know a staunch labour voter who is incredibly homophobic, he is the only person I have met who has ever actually become violent when called "gay", even in jest.
Remember that by roots and tradition, Labour is a northern working class party. So in order that you may attempt to prove your silly point I suggest you wander into any working men's club in Middlesborough or Newcastle and start calling people gay at random.
When has there ever been a homophobic Tory policy anyway? I know there was disagreement against lowering the age of consent from 21, but approval and disapproval came from all quarters, it was never a party-dependent issue. In fact, "Chrome-dome" Hague himself voted not for a reduction to 18, but a reduction to 16, in line with the heterosexual age of consent.
I seem to recall Blair sacking a certain Welsh Secretary due to "allegations" that he might prefer his bed company to be of broader shoulder and deeper voice...
