Immigration Crisis

If you claim you have been trafficked here, you have grounds to claim asylum.

All this talk of fleeing war and persecution we hear of how much of it is a smokescreen for draft dodging?

So if you were Russian you'd happily join the army to fight an illegal invasion?
Or would you flee the country and claim asylum elsewhere?

Draft-dodging is following your conscience.

strange to say someone has got their facts wrong, if you've no idea.
Your total opinion is predetermined by your prejudice. Until you lose your prejudice there's no opportunity for you to accept the reality.

Nah it’s the lack of suitable control of the french coast / border

So it’s the responsibility of the french
Now that UK has observers embedded in the Police beach patrol, they'll be able to better appreciate the difficulties, and report back to the politicians.
But will the politicians listen? I doubt it.

I need to add to my plan that at the start Britain withdraws from all treaties and agreements that oblige it to take in migrants, on the grounds that the system has been abused and has harmed the country.
Perhaps you'd like to go back to the days when children were transported for being hungry?
Or when suspected witches were drowned or burnt?
Or when debtors were jailed? Or when orphans were forced to work in workhouses?
Or when children were forced to go up chimneys?
Or perhaps more recently when children were abused mentally, physically and sexually for having parents that couldn't look after them, or when new born babies were fostered against the mothers' wishes.

Well yes apart from the plumbers put them on a rubber boat and tow em into french waters

The french can have em :ROFLMAO:
It's inhumane, dangerous and illegal.
I hope you don't have such cavalier attitudes to your other spheres of life.

Mind you this Migration problem is only temporary it will be solved in 2024 /25

Sir kier will sort it ;)
Even the Tories are beginning to realise that immigration is necessary.
If the asylum seekers were allowed to work, it would partly solve the problem of labour shortage, and allow the working asylum seekers to relinquish their reliance on 'generous hand outs'.

Conscription into what though? There is no war in Albania.
Even You have seen through Gant's daft arguments.

Don't they have football hooligans and chavs (or their equivalents) in other countries?
Neither UK's chavs nor any other country's chavs are asylum seekers.
I'm surprised I had to point that out to you.

The point is the French poilu's are watching on without so much as a word.
There were obviously far more asylum seekers on that beach and in them dunes than were loaded onto on boat.
I doubt if that many UK police would have attempted a potentially violent and dangerous intercept.
It's been published so many times how desperate the asylum seekers are.
It has also been published so may times, the length and difficulty of patrolling those beaches. if additional police were hours away, what's the point of creating a highly volatile situation?

Or maybe it's one o' them set-ups for a film crew to prove we're being over run by Albanians while a bunch of extras hang around in uniform - yeah, that makes far more sense. :p
Oy maybe it is.

No, but Ive visited Albania, wonderful, friendly people. We should have more of them in this country.
it seems they have pretty decent educational facilities for all stages.

It's good that you want people here because they are wonderful and friendly. There are wonderful and friendly people in every country I am sure, and they are welcome here as money spending tourists. It's not very wonderful and certainly not friendly to turn up uninvited and demand free stuff though.

Asylum seeking is not a demand, it's a request. It can be refused, but what's the point in refusing if the UK just allows them to stay anyway.
