He was well aware of the difference between asylum and illegal immigration. He was aware of the requirements for a skilled work visa.He was no doubt suckered in by claims of a land of milk and honey and a country keen to welcome him, feed him, house him and give him money for free. He probably didn't understand that he'd have to falsely claim asylum and opted to be honest to people who had initially treated him well.
Maybe he was fooled into thinking the UK Government would look kindly on honesty.
Yep. He's now learnt that the UK Government doesn't value honesty.I feel sorry for him because his case is no different to many, but he opted for honesty and got deported and banned.
The point I'm making is that France, just like UK does not have an abundance of reserves to cope with the additional Asylum Seekers. It takes more than its fair share, and you want France to protect UK's borders as well. The point I'm making is these illegals are all committing criminal offences while residing in France and we know the French authorities are happy to fine ex-pats for Schengen violations, so why turn a blind eye some days to illegal immigrants. You seem to think France has no blame in the growth of these illegals
That's what Brexit was about, for UK to take back control of its borders, now you're still not happy.
As i said, there is a legal and safe way for ex-pats to apply for carte de sejour. There is no legal, nor safe way for asylum seekers to claim asylum.
If there was no legal nor safe way to feed yourself, you could be forgiven for stealing food. but as there is a safe and legal route, it's a crime.
More like 10 people per side, at 400mm each and more in the middle. Your rocket science is failing you. Or your estimates are being swayed by your prejudice. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to add up 450-600mm (avg width of a human adult) x 15-16 x 2 (the configuration) Plus another 800-1200 for the bow and the same again for the stern pontoon sections abaft the transom (where the motor sits) and we have minimum dimensions of 8M.
That's the kind of violent confrontation that you want day in day out, several times a day, to stop asylum seekers seeking asylum.Of course if they are not guilty of any crimes why would the French police use tier gas to intercept them?
UK wanted control over it borders. It has it, what is it doing with that control? It wants someone else to control its borders.
