Have received a request to install an additional radiator to a ch system but the location of which is a little suspect. There is a large cinema type flat screen television on the wall about 500mm. away from where the radiator would be. The output of the new 2m. high verticle radiator is 5565 btus, the reason for its location is because of a cold area in that space of the open plan double room. The radiator looks the biz but am concerned it may affect or damage the working of the expensive looking flat screen tv, with the resulting blame afterwards to me for installing the rad. Have tried the manufacturers telephone help lines, but they are obviously non committal. Anybody got any recommendations/ guidelines other than not to do the job?
The ch system is a worcester 28irsf with 6 radiators well able to support additional add ons to its capacity.
Are these verticle radiators any good, as heat rises and the room is a stndard 8ft 6" high, surely the top hlf is being wasted?
Appreciate any advice
