But as you say, it's the owners' rules.
Hmm interesting... you suggest more than one owner:

"owners rules" - carp grammar (by me)
"owner's rules" - correct grammar for one owner
"owners' rules" - correct grammar for multiple owners (by you) !!

Well, I wouldn't know, but I'm assuming it is owned by more than one person. If it is only one person, they've taken on a lot.

If nothing else, a rowdy bunch of mods..... wouldn't want to be at that Chrimbo party ..... (assuming they're of the christian bent...!)..

now your being a homophobic racist.

Interesting. I'm an atheist - I do not believe in a Christian god, or any god for that matter - yet I'm quite happy to celebrate Christmas!

I'm just wondering what Joe will say about that when he, inevitably, pokes his nose in!

You ARE a Christian because you were raised in a Christian country. That's why you don't feel the need to bow down to Mecca 4 times a day.

I don't feel the need to bow down to a cross, for that matter.

Nor a statue of Mary. Hang on, wasn't there some commandment about not worshipping graven images?

But you were born into a country with Christian values.

That will be of interest to my Hindu mate. Can't wait to point out this fact tonight in the pub.

As I've said before, I am in full agreement with Christian values except for all the religious mumbo jumbo.

So you are a non-practicing Christian then. ;)

I've always thought that was a good half-way house. Try to live your life withing Christian principles, standards and boundaries - even if you don't fully sign up to the belief in the almighty.

No. I do not believe that Jebus (if indeed he ever existed) was the son of God. Therefore, I am not a Christian - practising or non-practising.

(It's 'practising, by the way.)

I don't practice any religion either, I worship my 10 cats! Even God knows that I do, he is quite happy with that, why should God be jealous? and He even saved the life of one of my dying cats, to the extent that I begged him to save her life and He did not fail me. I am so grateful to Him.

I do not care for religions, I communicate directly with universal God and and do not have to pray in any one direction or kneel down, for me He is everywhere in all direction, and his place and his temple is in your heart and in your mind.

Not some brick or mortar build building with some minarets, or domes that can come crashing down on you, his temple in my heart is indestructible. :)
