I don't practice any religion either, I worship my 10 cats! Even God knows that I do, he is quite happy with that, why should God be jealous? and He even saved the life of one of my dying cats, to the extent that I begged him to save her life and He did not fail me. I am so grateful to Him.

I do not care for religions, I communicate directly with universal God and and do not have to pray in any one direction or kneel down, for me He is everywhere in all direction, and his place and his temple is in your heart and in your mind.

Not some brick or mortar build building with some minarets, or domes that can come crashing down on you, his temple in my heart is indestructible. :)

When you have spoken to your god, has s/he ever spoken back to you?

Mine did on a regular basis.............usually to tell me to stop snoring or to let the dog out or to fill the car with fuel as she was going shopping the following morn.

Since I have rejected this god, life has been good.

But you were born into a country with Christian values.

As I've said before, I am in full agreement with Christian values except for all the religious mumbo jumbo.

So you are a non-practicing Christian then. ;)

No. I do not believe that Jebus (if indeed he ever existed) was the son of God. Therefore, I am not a Christian - practising or non-practising.

(It's 'practising, by the way.)
But you were raised in a christian family with christian values ergo you are a christian. Deny at all you like if it makes you feel better.

As I've said before (God help me, I'm becoming another repetitive Joe) my mother was a half-hearted Christian and my father was a staunch atheist. I wouldn't call that a Christian family.

NOOOO you wont.............I will pray for you, morning, afternoon and night.

Don't give up yet, there's always hope.

Oh, thank you. If ever I thought I'd become like Joe I'd euthanase myself! Then I'd never go to heaven, would I?

How can I explain this to you? God does not talk like humans, he communicates using other techniques like telepathic or instincts, he helps you to reach right decisions, but only when you have him in your heart, when you have faith in him, he enables you to do the right things. He guides you, instinctively you know something is telling you not to go there, or to go elsewhere. I can't explain very well, it a bit like quantum mechanic, quite a lot of mumbo jumbo just like quantum physics, right spin and left spin and what not and strings!

So he's definitely a 'he' then?

That must be sexual discrimination!

I've always maintained that you can tell a lot about someone by the way they are with animals. In the past, I have met several people who professed to be religious, but behind the fascade, they were quite unpleasant people. Not all by a long way, but certainly a percentage. In the main though, those who had animals who they looked after PROPERLY and put them first were usually decent human beings.

I/we have always had cats, but dog owners will tell you that their chosen pets are closer to the almighty. Dog is just God spelt backwards.
