Male Police can strip search a female.

Stop and search was your term, not mine
The police have the power to stop and search you without arrest, they have the power to strip search you without arrest and BTP think they can apply the gender recognition act to the police and criminal evidence act. Given these powers do not require consent, some have complained this is state sponsored sexual assault. Most police forces have realised the error and withdrawn their policy. BTP are being stubborn.

You, denso, noseall seem to think it’s ok for a male to strip search a female against her wishes, or for a female to be required to search a male against her wishes.

How often have you been stopped and searched?

What actions did you do that gave the police a good reason to want/need to search you?

I have to ask because I genuinely don't know anybody that's been searched like that

Of course. Blup doesn't seem to have any actual concerns about the policy itself, just wider transgender rights.
The policy assumes that the officer searching is the gender they were assigned at birth, or acquired later. The whole policy is focussed on the detainee’s gender not the searching officer

As is the person being searched, there is no difference. There are plenty of safeguards in the policy.

535,307 People were stopped and searched last year. 246,541 Were arrested and charged.

So you didn’t read it/understand it then.
Yes. It's quite clear and distinct. The rules have been relaxed for the removal of anoraks (outer clothing).

The rules governing EIS searches are just the same i.e. "must be conducted in accordance with PACE Code C, Annex A, paragraph 11."

Get your boat captain to read it to you. Its fairly easy to understand.

Nonsense.

They are however free to remove an anorak, if its appropriate....

the basic human right of a woman to be searched by a woman not a man
Which it covers in the policy. It doesn't mention a man searching a woman, or vice versa, anywhere, that is just headline making.

The person being searched should be treated as per their birth certificate (or GRC only as necessary), man searches a man, or woman searches a woman. In the absence of any further information they will be searched by what appears to be their gender until proven differently.

You don't like that?
