My apologies, I was mistaken. I stated that the UK sold 16 million quids worth of arms to Russia after the embargo. it was in fact less than 2 million quids worth..

The EU sold over 300 million quids worth of arms to Russia, and are still reluctant to supply Ukraine with weapons whilst cowering at Putin's feet begging for more gas and oil.

Quite disgusting really.

Another 2 Generals and many others have been killed according to Ukraine sources after their command post was attacked, Ukraine forces will be getting intel from US/Uk and others, an RAF RC-135 was patroling the Black sea off Ukraine for hours yesterday.

Yeh the usual comments but no mention of the difficulties Russia would have. Or even will have if they "win" from how things are now. Preferring reports that give where some of the info comes from Russia has had to back up the insurgents in Donbas on more than one occasion. A "win" for them now means an even longer land boarder that they will have to defend if they want to retain it. This could go on for a long time which is why some have mentioned years / in for the long haul etc.

Biden's announcement. He listed weapons that he wanted to send but congress needed to ok the expense again and he also wanted to arrange for a continuous supply to Ukraine. He'd reached the previously agreed limit. I've heard no more since so??? In some ways there are 3 sides now that can't back down. The West, Ukraine and Russia.

Train people in Moldova? I found a press cutting from around 2014 concerning UK training in Ukraine. Politically field medical work training only but an army man added street fighting. It also seems that Ukraine was requesting heavier weapons but they were not supplied.

A USA trainer who was involved early on did mention fighting when interviewed recently.

Personally, I blame Russian, the UK and especially the USA for all of this ie winding up those in ukraine to test the will of the Russian leader by creeping right up to his door.

This war is nothing to do with Britain, it is a proxy war between Russia and America. Americans love watching wars from their safe distance. We should stay well out of it.

I haven't but Biden's speech caused me to wonder about what is going on etc. There are 3 parties involved and Ukraine does seem to need support on the supply side. If the west backs off on that they have "lost". The rumbles about support are probably from the "Trump" side.

Zelensky did a press conference yesterday. He seemed to be saying that the west have no choice about supplying arms and also that he was going to write a list of what he wants. No weapons no fight type approach. ??? or due to speaking off the cuff.

He's also upset that the UN chief is visiting Putin before him and announced that Blinken is arriving today - USA wont confirm. In war zones they usually announce after the event when it's senior people.
