Oh Rwanda

Most of that list is a failure caused by our governments.

Yea I think your right..... I went for a coffee the other morning.... it was rubbish.

And then there was the time I ordered a Perroni..... I got it in a Carling glass...

International sanctions have been imposed during the Russo-Ukrainian War by a large number of countries[which?] against Russia and Crimea following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which began in late February 2014. Belarus has also been sanctioned for its cooperation with and assistance to Russian armed forces.[1] The sanctions were imposed by the United States, the European Union (EU) and other countries and international organisations against individuals, businesses and officials from Russia and Ukraine.[2] Russia responded with sanctions against several countries, including a total ban on food imports from Australia, Canada, Norway, Japan, the United States and the EU.

You might take the trouble to check what you post. A bit more
On 6 March 2014, U.S. president Barack Obama, invoking, inter alia, the International Emergency Economic Powers Act and the National Emergencies Act, signed an executive order declaring a national emergency and ordering sanctions, including travel bans and the freezing of U.S. assets, against not-yet-specified individuals who had "asserted governmental authority in the Crimean region without the authorization of the Government of Ukraine" and whose actions were found, inter alia, to "undermine democratic processes and institutions in Ukraine".[22][23]
I read that Russia now has a trade surplus twice as large as the previous year, thanks to sanctions.
Imports of luxury goods into Russia have slumped while its exports of oil gas and other commodities has grown, this has led to its growing trade surpluses.
Russia itself, unlike the EU is food and energy secure.
It seems that the EU is pointing a gun at its head and threatening to shoot itself if the Russians don't back down.

Yes, so much so that when the German President wanted to visit Ukraine, he was told to p1zz off.

Germany irritated by Ukraine's snub of a presidential visit | Stars and Stripes

The reason for it seems different to the media reporting…….

a Ukrainian president's adviser stated that President Zelenskyy wanted Chancellor Scholz to come to Kyiv instead of Steinmeier to announce the supply of more armaments

I wonder what Zelensky thinks about Johnson only being there to deflect from party gate, oh and the fact the Conservatives are bankrolled by Putin

I reckon that ship that got stuck and caused havoc in the Suez Canal was probably some thing to do with Putin

Than there is that extinction rebellion caper ;)

Seems to be latest fad, if there is something you don't agree with blame it on putin. At worst the russians were just useful idiots in the trump / brexit / (and hopefullty le pen) outcomes.

Well out local post office had shut down

probably caused by some Russians
Infiltrating the local community

Imho Russians have infiltrated our local council

We aren’t.

the number of asylum seekers coming here is less than it was 20 years ago

So you think spending £400m or so to move 200 people to Rwanda is sensible.
But still far far too many

---

Your figures are ludicrously exaggerated - but yes the cost per migrant to Rwanda will be considerably higher than processing them here. But the rub will be the numbers, if nothing changes there could be 40,000 young men to house and look after next year - with the Rwanda deal in place it could be less than a 100. Italy germany Belgium Spain France will all become much more desirable to them, they won't want to have travelled all the way from africa to be on the first plane back.

Pretty Pritti man have finally come up trumps.

Apparently a large number of people agree with the Government's Rwanda plan.

What sort of person agrees with this several-times-proven-to-make-stupid-decisions and several-times-broken-its- promises government?

Had these agreeable people thought of this plan themselves before the government suggested it? Had these agreeable people even heard of Rwanda?

Or are they the same people that last year were the Covid Sheeple?

I was a fan of Dian Fossey long before gorrillas in the mist, so well aware of Rwanda, stunning beautiful country with wonderful climate - wouldn't mind living there myself.

No.

How many of them agree with you that innocent people should just be murdered?
what innocent people are likely to be murdered ?
