Your quote is from a political document from one party which didn't even get a quarter of the votes at the last election. And it doesn't mention "kill" anywhere.

Not surprisingly the video does not show anything remotely resembling an altercation with the poppy seller.
if it happened, I'm sure the Mail would,be only too happy to publish it, and so would the poppy seller.

About the video of the poppy seller being kicked and punched, that video was posted on 4th Nov at 16.58hrs on twitter, with no mention of any assault.
The article in the Mail was reported on 6th Nov at 22.30hrs
You don't think the mail pinched the video and made upa story, do you?
They wouldn't would they? There is no indicatio n whatsoever of him being kicked and punched in that video. Nor of anyone coming to his rescue.
And let's not forget that the station will be covered from every angle by CCTV.
If it happened the offender will be easily identified and charged.
