As the evidence shows. You are no more likely to have your supply cut off or switched to pre-payment with a smart meter than you are with an analogue meter.

As usual you misquote the person and pretend they said something elseDo you really think that everyone on a dumb meter is on the same tariff? Honestly?
You evidently don't need a smart meter for individual pricing, which was the claim.
A dumb meter cannot know or report when you consumed the energy. The supplier benefits, and with the advent of SM's they get real time data - much more useful...
Because it will end up with individual time based billing based on what is best for the supplier, not the consumer...
As for getting better deals, do people still not understand for example that the 'deals' you usually get with a 'loyalty' card are the true price and those without a card are paying a hiked up price?
Same thinking with the energy suppliers
Are its Boyo time. You are so much more convincing when you call someone Boyo.Says the man that asked me to look at a post that didn't even exist (titter).
However, back to the subject: You are no more likely to have your supply cut off or switched to pre-payment with a smart meter than you are with an analogue meter.
FACT boyo.
Thankyou. You are so much more convincing when you call someone Boyo.
Correct, again. You are no more likely to be cut off or switched to pre-payment with a smart meter than you are with an analogue meter.
But it’s a lot easier to do it via a SM though.Thankyou.
You are rarely convincing, especially when you revert to the worn out argument "but they can do it remotely" or "they don't need to enter your house" blather. Utterly irrelevant regarding the process that leads to being cut off or switched.
You are no more likely to be cut off or switched to pre-payment with a smart meter than you are with an analogue meter. Stick that in your bilge pipe.
Actually I've pointed out that they can do it without external oversignt. I've also pointed out that the regulator suspended their right to do it, due to concerns and that after a compliance review, several thousand forced switch overs were found to be illegal triggering compensation.Thankyou.

It's even easier not to disconnect someone at all. Companies have in house legal people who deal with this all the time. Getting a court order is simple. But it’s a lot easier to do it via a SM though.
oh wait you're serious. It's even easier not to disconnect someone at all. Companies have in house legal people who deal with this all the time. Getting a court order is simple.
But it’s not free is it.It's even easier not to disconnect someone at all. Companies have in house legal people who deal with this all the time. Getting a court order is simple.
It does not change the fact.....irelevant waffle

You beat me to it. It matters not a jot how easy it is if they don't do it in the first place. But you will say thats irrelevant
No one said it was. The point is you are no more likely to get disconnected if you have a smart meter. It's just a fact. But it’s not free is it.
have you seen the magistrates checklist? No one said it was. The point is you are no more likely to get disconnected if you have a smart meter. It's just a fact.
Yep Nothing to see here:You beat me to it. It matters not a jot how easy it is if they don't do it in the first place.
