I do shoot. Firearms once. Looking at the rifle used and if standard sighting marks are available for 200yds and further. That is the point where the barrel's line meets the sight's line. It seems laser sights have also been authorised. The fact that the sight line is higher than the barrel line means that as distance is decreased the bullet will go high. At at short distances the compensation needed can be rather large. It may not even be possible to add it to the scope. The bullet also doesn't travel in a straight line. This can mean that a sight mark can be the same for a near and far distance. More of a feature of legal air rifles really.
Not much info about on the rounds used. It seems dum dum ie expanding on impact can be used. They may have a selection. All we know from comments is that the slug turned into fragments. I wouldn't want to even guess the effects of a windscreen.
Actually I was disappointed at the last range I shot at. Cleared for all rounds and the police used it for practice but never bumped into one there who I could have asked how they get around issues with high powered rifles. Some of the earlier comments also mentioned NI and our army using standard gear intended for war.
Tasers don’t work too well, edit, they don’t work at all through glass and metal and the suspect was surrounded by the stuff. You really are clueless, aren’t you.
