yes. $150M worth has gone missing. about 1/2 a billion tonnes.
There has also been talk that it's getting to Turkey and then on to the east in general. That stolen stuff but Russia also exports grain, Must be going through Georgia etc if by land. Turkey has interest in helping but not sure if the man from the UN is involved.
The main reason for needing to empty the silos is the winter crop due for harvesting shortly. Try to find how long grain lasts in storage - wish you luck. It can vary.
Odessa is mined. Russia will demine it if Ukraine doesn't sink their ship. Ukraine doesn't trust them etc. Not many conditions other than not used to get weapons to Ukraine which will involve inspection.
The man from the UN has been trying to sort something effective out for a while now. Not just grain but also fertiliser aspects from Russia and Belarus. He wont usually talk about the causes of problems.
The west. There is no embargo on food and talking about rail to get grain out of Ukraine via the west etc and the problems. One is loading and unloading, trains and then into ships.
Given the areas that will suffer the most I'd suspect politically Russia would probably help get the stuff out but who knows.

Grain storage - details are easy to find. It can last several years or indefinitely if you keep the temperature down and moisture down, and add insecticide if necessary. Monitor weekly.
Too warm and you get bugs (above 10°C), too damp and things grow, like mould. Use ventilation. So it depends how clever the silo is.
Not much - maybe 10% - could be taken west into eg Poland by rail, there isn't the carrying ability.

The point I was making plus we don't know what the grain is in or it's capabilities. We do know another harvest is due shortly.
Cracks - only ones I have heard of are not in the EU. Reports are based on EU heads of state talking to Putin. Ukraine sees that as looking for a diplomatic solution and criticise them about other factors as a result.
The latest criticalthreats june 11 makes an interesting read but as reporters are increasingly saying they can not verify claims.
There were also comments that Russia's economy isn't suffering as much as expected but I'd be inclined to view any comment like that with a pinch of salt about any factors concerning how it is currently performing.
C4 asked Zelensky directly about conceding territory. He wont, effectively the final part of the reply. They are now saying they are totally dependent on western supplies. Run out of Russian munitions assumed here. Recent BBC comment running very low. Ukraine reckon they are outgunned by a factor of 10 to 1. Long range stuff. Most of the fighting finishes up short ranges which usually involves mortars, tanks and smaller artillery.
EU saying steps must be taken to end corruption before Ukraine can join. Zelenskyy seems to have already had problems in the oly area.
News taken up yesterday with posturing concerning China, indo pacific. It seems Taiwan is happy with the current state, self governance which doesn't mean independence. Others in the area do not want to choose sides.

So the prospect of Russian tanks pulling up anytime soon outside my or your local Wetherspoons, is, basically in the range of a remote possibility to non existent.

How come the territory Russia holds keeps increasing.
Not sure what Putin would send to Belfast but probably the same he would send here which look nothing remotely like tanks. If he ever did send anything this way.
