A number of places need to do the same. Can't see it happening that quickly. Same with refining fuel - latest hiccup, ok get more crude but how to refine it. Same problem with gas what ever form it takes - where from. Spare capacity probably wont be available and will take a while to get going. Ships to transfer it.They need to go back to nuclear ASAP.
Large commercial vessels, such as cargo ships, generally operate on HFO while smaller ships, such as tugs and fishing vessels, tend to operate on distillate fuels, such as marine diesel oil (MDO), marine gas oil (MGO), or even ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel (ULSD).
HFO is heavy fuel oil. I believe that is what's left after other stuff is taken out of crude but maybe not all crude. I wondered what had happened to the price of that but can't find anything.
