Rape gangs. Why does the Home Office minister not want a national public enquiry?

One would hope that those who tend to pick up on sexual crimes amongst certain communities would find this equally abhorrent...

Men on secret 1970s pro-paedophile list could still work with children today

"They were all members of a group called the Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE).
The Metropolitan Police had the list for about 20 years from the late 1970s, a BBC Radio 4 podcast team has been told.
Spread across several dozen pages, with a pink cover page added by police in the early 1980s, the typed list contains 316 names - all but a handful men, most with addresses alongside.
Most PIE members were based in the UK - but there are also details of people in other parts of western Europe, Australia and the US"

"Over a decade, PIE spokesmen gave interviews to the media arguing that adults and children had a human right to have sex with each other. Four years old, they argued, was an age at which most children could give consent"

"However, while PIE's leaders may have been happy to speak publicly, the names of rank-and-file members were very much kept secret"

None of the UK numbers listed leap off the pages in that article suggesting those listed are/were from towns with much of an ethnic population!

"The British public’s dislike of Musk puts a limit on his influence. Fewer than one in five British respondents view him favourably, according to a recent YouGov poll. Musk is also upended by his ignorance. By calling for Nigel Farage to be removed as leader of the rightwing Reform UK party, he missed the fact that Reform is Farage’s personal vehicle. Musk’s call on King Charles to dissolve parliament reinforces questions about his ignorance. Elected governments, not monarchs, choose when to call a UK general election."

What about the ones who didn’t respond? The ones who don’t care about the FT ?

Wrong again John.

Well the tories after refusing to act on that independent review now want to scupper the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill...

In order to deflect from their failures...

"The Conservatives will bring forward an amendment to the bill on Wednesday, which is expected to call for ministers to establish a national statutory inquiry into historical child sexual exploitation, focused on grooming gangs"

"The government wants to roll out the recommendations of the inquiry led by Prof Alexis Jay, rather than open a new inquiry.
Prof Jay told the BBC on Tuesday that victims want action and do not need a new national inquiry"

"The amendment to the bill also calls for the Commons to halt the progress of the bill, which includes measures aimed at bolstering safeguarding for children"

Phillipson (education secretary) told BBC Radio 4's Today programme the bill was "the single biggest piece of children safeguarding legislation in a generation", which the Conservatives intended to block "on the altar of political opportunism".

The nasty party choose to show that yet again they don't care!

Or they have something to hide ;)

Nonsense.
are you sure about that??
are you really really sure?

Amid Trump Tariffs, Farm Bankruptcies And Suicides Rise

"The Trump administration gave more taxpayer dollars to farmers harmed by the administration’s trade policies than the federal government spends each year building ships for the Navy or maintaining America’s nuclear arsenal"

The United States Department of Agriculture has distributed up to $12 billion in financial aid to agricultural producers most affected by China's retaliatory tariffs. The USDA's aid came in the form of direct cash payments to producers of corn, cotton, soybeans, sorghum, wheat, dairy, and certain meat products.

Government payments to farmers have surged to historic levels under President Donald Trump as the Agriculture Department floods the industry with cash to stem the financial losses from Trump’s tariff fights

Trump announces $16 billion bailout for farmers hit by trade war with China

The emergency aid will be the second package to help farmers hit by tariffs.

Trump's massive farmer bailout failed to make up for the 'self-inflicted' trade damage

You do realise those amounts are a fraction of the EU common agricultural policy
what part of the following dont you understand:

Trumps tariff war with China damaged American farming

Trump announces $16 billion bailout for farmers hit by trade war with China

The emergency aid will be the second package to help farmers hit by tariffs

Jay’s review into the wider issue of child sexual exploitation only looked at the rape gang scandal in six towns

Well take that up with the BBC because I can assure you that dozens of towns were named in there report

And the shock of it all was they and others are naming certain ethnic groups
Yes exactly can you believe it

Way I see it any one making such statements should be investigated for racism and racist remarks

needs to be swept under the carpet ? In the interest of community relations etc
